Benefit eligible THI employees receive ten paid holidays. Eight holidays are considered core holidays and two holidays are floating holidays to be used at the employee’s discretion. Please note that Holidays may vary based on contractual requirements.

The Federal Holiday Schedule includes these 8 core holidays plus Martin Luther King Day and Columbus Day. All employees will follow their contract specific requirements if they differ from this schedule.

Insurance Plans

THI offers a variety of insurance plans for employees to choose from:

  • Medical
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Group term and supplemental life, and accident insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability programs

THI covers the cost for the Employee Assistance Program, group term life insurance and for those employees under our (SCA) Service Contract Act their employee (employee only) medical premium. The cost of other benefit plans may be covered by a combination of company and employee pre-tax contributions.

Retirement Plans

To assist employees with savings to supplement their retirement income THI offers our 401(k) Retirement Plan. We know that achieving financial security for our employee’s future is not just a matter of how much each employee earns, but more importantly, it’s a matter of how much each employee saves. Employee savings grow faster with tax-deferred dollars, Company contributions, and investment opportunities. The THI Retirement Plan permits rollovers from prior employer-sponsored qualified plans. Loans and hardship withdrawals may be available under Plan rules.


To assist in our employee work-life balance THI offers paid leave. SCA employees are provided vested vacation while the non-SCA employees accrue leave each pay period. These leave plans provide paid time off for vacation, personal business and short-term illness. Accrual rates vary, based upon years of service with the Company and fringe package offered within the employee’s contract and/or department.

Education Assistance

THI encourages the growth of each employee through formal education. The Education Assistance Program provides a lifetime maximum reimbursement amount for undergraduate, graduate and university sponsored certificate programs.

Employee Referrals

Some of our best recruiting resources come from our employees. THI has a formal Employee Referral plan, which pays employees who refer applicants for positions in which they are selected.
